Major developments since World War II impacting on and influenced by human rights; in particular, colonial legacies and new forms of domination in Asian societies from the perspectives of human rights theory and practice. Human rights legislation and institutionalization of human rights in Asian countries. Establishment of a regional human rights mechanism.
